Why Meritwise
Meritwise started as a way to give separate software projects a shared identity. Education and well-being may look like different categories, but the same design question appears in both: how can software help without getting in the way?
The answer is rarely more complexity. It is better structure, clearer language, and a product that knows what job it is trying to do.
How products are approached
Each project begins with one useful outcome, then works backward into the interface. Features are evaluated by whether they improve that outcome—not simply whether they are technically possible.
The work is iterative: build, test, simplify, publish, learn, and improve. Meritwise is also a record of those lessons, which is why the journal sits next to the apps rather than in a separate corner of the site.
What comes next
More product updates, deeper articles, and new experiments will appear here over time. The goal is for Meritwise to become both a portfolio of shipped work and a useful archive of the thinking behind it.
